First discovered by Captain Cook and named ‘The Sandwich Islands’ in 1778, these magnificent Islands in the South Pacific are arguably one of the most desirable tourist destinations.
The famous volcanic islands of Lahama ( Maui), Waikiki (Ohahu), Volcanoes National Park, Hanape (Kauai), Molokai, Lanai and Big Island comprise this archipelago off the USA pacific coast.
The capital, Honolulu on the island of Oahu has a fully International Airport. The islands are distinguished by the following attractions:

- Visit Pearl Harbor – which was bombed by the Japanese in September 1941 – and brought the USA into WWII. The Aquariums and Museums (from Volcanoes to Stars) will thrill you.

- Kapalua Wine and Food Festival.
- Kamehameha Festival of Hawaiian Music, Chant, Dance, Crafts and Food.
- In July – Lanai Pineapple Festival – Local Food, Fruit, Crafts, Games, Entertainment and Live Music. Pineapple Eating and Cooking Contests add ‘spice to the rice’!
